Management Team
MIKE SCHNEIDER
President and CEO
Mike has over 15 years experience in the telecommunications
industry and has been a constant overachiever in his
many different positions. Beginning his career near
the onset of deregulation in 1988 Mike worked for one
of the big 3 startup long distance companies Sprint
Corp. While at Sprint Mike excelled in a Senior
Sales Rep position where he became a top performer earning
President's Club recognition twice.
After 6 years at Sprint Corp, Mike then moved
over to Intermedia Communications, an emerging
CLEC and Data Network provider, as their National Account
Manager in 1995. While working with most of the Major
Banks and ISP's in the Southeast area, Mike sold, project
managed, and implemented more than $1,000,000 of monthly
recurring revenue in frame relay networks and Internet
access services. Mike was awarded top salesman of the
year award at Intermedia for 2 consecutive years before
moving into position as Director of North Carolina Major
Accounts. As Director Mike lead and managed a sales
team of 8 Major Account Managers in 3 separate sales
offices in North Carolina and achieved 111% of his team's
yearly sales goal.
After Mike's 6 year tenure at Intermedia Communications,
he moved over to BTI Communications to start
and build BTI's new Major Accounts Division.
This required developing a Job description, Interviewing,
and hireling a new division of 8 Major Account Managers
throughout the southeast. After ramping up Mike's team
was successful and landing several Major Accounts for
BTI and produced several top producers for the company.
Mike Co-Founded Connectivity Source Inc in 2001
and has served as President since the companies inception.
Connectivity Source has grown at over 200% in
sales each year reaching over 2.2 Million in Sales in
2003.
SCOTT LANGDON
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Scott has over 10 years experience in the telecommunications
industry. After graduating with an MBA (1994) from East
Carolina University, his began his career in Sales with
Business Telecom (BTI). While at BTI he was recognized
as one of the top producers in 1995. . He then took
over the Marketing and Sales of BTI services
for Systel OA. While at Systel he managed over 50 account
Executives and increased network sales by over 125%
in his the first year. Scott then co-founded Telecom
Partners Inc (TPI). Under Scott's leadership, TPI
obtained accolades including being a top three BTI
sales distributor nationwide, a top ten BellSouth
sales distributor in NC, and a top five Sprint
sales distributor in Eastern NC.
Scott also became one of only thirty nationally certified
Sprint Data Partners and one of only 20 Master
Teleglobe agents in the country. In the 3 years
at TPI, Sprint network sales increased 167%,
Sprint gross profit rose 264%, BellSouth sales
increased 201%, and BellSouth gross profit increased
210%. Scott then became the Regional Alternate Channel
Manager (RACM) for Worldcom / Intermedia. He
Was responsible for the recruitment, development, and
evaluation of alternate channel partners in NC, SC,
VA, MD, PA, and DC. Scott was One of only two ACM's
in the country to qualify for the 2000 Presidents Club.
He finished ranked as the top channel manager in the
country. He achieved this honor by. Averaging over $223,000
of new-booked business per quarter while the position
average was only of $90,000 per quarter. Scott Co-Founded
Connectivity Source in September of 2001 and
in just a couple of years was instrumental in making
Connectivity Source one of the Top ITC Deltacom
and Bellsouth agents in the country. With agents
located throughout the Southeastern United States, Scott
has taken his channel management and telecom sales experience
and developed one of the strongest agent distribution
channels in the industry.
