Great news! Today we formally closed the Windstream-PAETEC merger, creating a $6 billion Fortune 500 company. A great many people worked extremely hard to complete this acquisition, and I want to thank everyone for their tireless efforts.

This is the latest critical step in the transformation of our company to a next-generation telecommunications provider. We now have a 100,000-mile fiber network along with other key assets - data centers and cloud computing capacity, among them - that make us a strong nationwide competitor able to serve business customers of all sizes. Going forward, 70 percent of our revenues will come from broadband and business services, and you will see us begin to drive a national brand that highlights the growth areas of our business
